- Roll of Puff Pastry
- 150g Mince Meat
- 1 Egg Beaten
- Light Brown Sugar
- 100g Icing Sugar
- 45gDark Chocolate & Sea Salt Liquid Fudge
Ingredients
- Unroll the pastry sheet, cut in half horizontally, mark 10 sections per half sheet.
- Brush the edges of each sheet, and along each divide mark, with the egg.
- Spread 1 teaspoon of mince meat mixture in the middle of each of the 10 sections on one of the sheets. Place the second sheet on top, press the edges, and in-between each line of mince meat. Brush with egg, then cut down the divide lines.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar then turn over and repeat, brushing each slice with egg and sprinkling with brown sugar.
- Taking both ends of the slice, twist and place onto a baking tray covered with baking paper. Repeat for the remaining 9 slices. Place in the oven at 200C / Gas Mark 6 for 10-15 minutes. Once golden, place on a cooling tray.
- Mix 45g of liquid fudge in the icing sugar and 1 teaspoon of hot water. Place in a piping bag, snip the tip of the bag and drizzle over the twists.
