Festive Fudgenog
Ingredients
- 5 Eggs Separated
- 700ml Whole Milk
- 240ml Heavy or Double Cream
- 175ml Bacardi Dark Rum or Bourbon
- 1 Vanilla Bean Pod
- 3 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1tsp Nutmeg
- 4 Chocolate Orange Drinking Fudge Sachets
Method
- Combine the milk, cream, cinnamon, vanilla bean, vanilla seeds and nutmeg in a pan on medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and allow to steep.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks and Drinking Fudge.
- Slowly whisk in the milk.
- Add the bourbon or rum.
- Refrigerate overnight or for up to 3 days.
- Before serving, beat the egg whites in a large bowl until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold into the fudgenogg until combined.
- Serve and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
