Our slab fudge is freshly made and should keep for up to 10 days…probably. I mean, no-one has ever been able to resist it long enough to call our bluff. Might go off in 10 minutes for all we know!* Store your fudge at room temperature, as the sugar in the fudge acts as a natural preservative. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. (*It won’t. It’ll last up to 10 days or you can stick it in the freezer.)
The Real Deal … this Fudge is legit. We still boil up each batch in a huge copper pot over an open flame, which makes us feel like Wizards. Hot fudge is then poured onto an Italian marble counter to cool, where our Fudgemeisters (with tensed biceps and sucked in stomachs) flourish huge spatulas with wild abandon. This is the secret to our signature smoothness (just between us – we’re mates aren’t we customer 6218647b? You wouldn’t tell our secrets?).
The cooled ‘baguette’ of fresh fudge is then sliced into generous 175g slices, firm on the outside, soft and creamy in the centre. Just the way it should be.
